DARUMA I

CA$40.00

The Daruma is an iconic force in Zen Budhism, representing the founder, Bodhidharma. The mythos of the Zen founder and creation of the Daruma lies in the tale of a 9 year mediation where his arms and legs had rot and fallen off. The modern use of Daruma we see today is a self righting doll that is used to mark goals and dreams.

Fill in the left eye when setting a goal or making a wish, fill in the right eye once the dream or goal is achieved. ‘Todays good omens are tomorrows good fortune’.
